The account’s bio reads, “A catalog of pettable and non-pettable dogs in video games,” and defines petting by, “A manual button press resulting in visual representation of petting is required for affirmation.” Not only is this account a great reference guide, but the videos of characters petting dogs warm the soul.

The creator of the account told Slate, “I was playing The Division 2 beta when I found an unpettable dog, which frustrated me,” they said. “I saw others making similar complaints, which helped validate my feelings. I thought it would be helpful to establish which games contain pettable dogs and which do not.”

The Twitter account was created this month but already has over 53,000 followers. Just giving the people what they need. The account started by cataloging games from personal experiences, but since then hundreds of people have sent in suggestions.
