Some dogs are homebodies, preferring to stay within the confines of their owner’s domain, while others love a good ocean swim, long car ride, and a host of other outside activities. But Kicker, the 2-year-old Golden Retriever, takes active to a whole new meaning, as he’s unofficially the World’s Most Adventurous Dog, and People was lucky enough to get to talk (bark?) with the precious pooch.
Andrew Muse, Kicker’s owner, is actually the host of the web series Tiny Home Adventure, in which the duo drives cross country—traveling tiny house—seeking out nature’s greatest thrills and most beautiful spaces while trying activities like snowboarding, paragliding and kite boarding. Casual, right?
True to many dogs and their owners, Kicker and Muse are two peas in a pod. “He has a passion for being outside and doing all activities with me, especially when there is snow involved,” Muse told People. “The way his eyes light up when we are on an adventure reminds me so much of myself.”
However, the duo started off a lot smaller than as digital celebs, rather, Muse and Kicker lived in a van and traveled to Alaska. “We rode [the] big Alaskan lines together,” says Muse. As for future endeavors? You can definitely expect more adventure. “The plan is to travel down through Central America… to spend time kiting, surfing, hiking and exploring new countries,” he says.
