This Dog Interrupted a Soccer Game for Belly Rubs

Any good dog knows that belly rubs are the best. They’re arguably the ultimate sign of affection from an owner or other person. Case in point: This dog interrupted a soccer game for belly rubs in the Georgian town of Gori, as first reported by the BBC.

After sauntering onto the field in the middle of an Erovnuli Liga national soccer match between Dila Gori and Torpedo Kutaisi, players attempted to chase the animal off of the grass. However, their efforts were met not with anger, but instead with a little begging for belly rubs—the puppy then flopped down to receive oh-so-covetable belly rubs from soccer stars on both teams. His affection desires were only surpassed by his tricks, including rolling over for one of the goalies.

And although the dog wasn’t adopted after, this scenario serves as a wonderful reminder that there are many stray dogs that are available for adoption—even some who can do pretty cool tricks.
