You probably saw that video of a professor being interrupted by his child during a BBC interview. But if you think kids are hard to control, try dealing with a cat. Watch as a Latvian mayor experiences this first-hand during his live stream:
My Latvian is a little rusty, but The Washington Post reported that the mayor simply said: “Well. All sorts of things happen here” in response to his thirsty feline. Mayor Nils Usakovs brushed off the interruption pretty well, even joking about it later on Facebook, saying “Anything can happen if your office is ruled by cats.” I know plenty of cat owners would definitely agree. And while the Mayor is a pretty big deal in Latvia, it’s his cat Dumka that really earned him global fame.
