Cats are usually known for being pretty lazy pets that are perfectly happy just taking a nap on the couch. But not these two. Meet Bolt and Keel, two rescue cats with a keen sense of adventure. They go with their owners on all sorts of excursions, like canoeing, hiking, camping, and sailing.
These adventurous felines were abandoned when they were just kittens. Explorers Danielle and Kayleen found them as they were about to embark on a two-day hiking trip. With no choice but to bring the kittens along, they scooped them up and the rest is history.
Keel, pictured above, is the more adventurous of the two. His owner told The Dodo that he is “definitely [the] hiker, and he’s very curious. He’s very active.” As for Bolt (below), he prefers to “be carried or…sit around your neck.”
These crazy cats have been on some pretty amazing adventures already, and it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon.
