Adventures in Agility: New Year, New Me!
Happy 2019! It’s been a while since we’ve chatted agility, and the last time we did I was going to competitions where I, well, did more zoomies than agility! Entertaining, but not exactly blue ribbon-worthy. And I started getting less enthused about class. So we stepped away from competition and eased up in class to give me a break and reset.
Well, I’m excited to say that, after a few months, I am back to loving agility and seem happier than ever on the course! I haven’t dipped my paw back into competition yet, but I went to a “run-thru” – basically a practice competition – a few weeks ago and felt like I rocked it. Check out some of my run below!
As you can see, I messed up on the weave poles, but mom just kept going so I didn’t get frustrated. After my run we went back and tried them again… and nailed them!
We’re signed up for a competition in a few weeks, so wish us luck! I have a feeling good things are in store this year…
