In 2009, Miranda Lambert and her mother Bev founded MuttNation Foundation, a donation-supported organization working to end pet suffering and homelessness in the US and abroad.
Miranda’s biggest passion in life (after music, of course) is helping rescue dogs find homes by spreading awareness about the joys of adopting a shelter pet. She’s currently a mother to 7 rescue pups!
She’s using “Pink Sunglasses”, a song from her latest record The Weight of These Wings, to show how rescue dogs can help make the word a little better. Some of our favorite celebrity pets including Royce the Frenchie, Chloe Kardoggian, and Sometimes Carl joined in the fun and shared their own pink sunglasses videos! On June 8th, Miranda and her foundation are hosting a “MuttNation March” through Downtown Nashville to raise awareness for shelter dog adoption and to kickoff a 4-day adoption drive she’s holding at CMA Fest.
