Rescue Dogs Hit The Runway

Fashion Week is great and all, but I would much rather watch an adorable little pup than a model any day. At the Rescue the Runway show, it was mutts instead of models that took over the “dog” walk.

This event was put on by animal welfare nonprofit Mr. Bones & Co. They’ve been organizing this show for 5 years now, and it’s always a hit. This year’s event was held at a beer hall in Brooklyn and featured some incredibly cute adoptable dogs.

There were puppies, pitbulls, and plenty of other perfect pups that graced the runway. Some were even accompanied by special guests such as local firefighters and police officers.

Besides the runway show, attendees also got to enjoy food, drinks, a silent auction, and tons of raffles. The event also featured the ever-popular pitbull kissing booth featuring Instagram stars like @sometimescarl.

Overall, Rescue the Runway was a great event with an even greater cause. Mr. Bones and Co. is always trying to find loving, forever homes for all the dogs they rescue, and this fashion show was just one of the many ways that they succeed in doing it.
