Random Guy Cuddles Up with Mastiff in His Dog Bed

New Years Eve makes people do all sorts of crazy stuff, and this year was no exception. And even if you plan a cozy night in, the craziness comes to you. Wisconsin woman Lynn Sarver woke up on January 1st to a stranger cuddling her 150-pound mastiff named Benton in his dog bed.

“Normally when somebody walks by or somebody comes in the house, he does a lot of barking,” Sarver told local ABC affiliate WISN of her dog. But oddly, Benton didn’t make a sound when the stranger walked in and laid down in the dog bed for a little nap.

Turns out the guy lives a few doors down and, after a good night of partying, walked into her place instead of his own. Sarver’s door was unlocked, which made it easier for her neighbor to enter and, oddly, curl up on the dog bed.

Sarver called the police and the mishap was resolved shortly after.
