PetCon LA, powered by The Dog Agency, is an action-packed event full of insightful panels, fun activations and can’t-miss meet + greets with the world’s favorite celebrity pets.

Celebrity bodybuilder, Mike O’Hearn, joined a panel discussing pet rescue and adoption with the Petco Foundation and the ASPCA.

Rapper 2Chainz pup, Trappy Goyard, hosted a meet and greet at the Trappy Booth.

After two successful years in NYC, PetCon took its first stab at LA, and it did not disappoint. The all-day event featured notable speakers on a range of topics affecting pet parents, as well meet and greets with nearly 50 of the world’s most influential animals and canine film and TV stars.

Booths lining the outside of the venue included: 20th Century Fox, Bush’s Baked Beans, Grounds and Hounds Coffee, Dogtopia, TruDog, Viagen Pets, Eterneva, Lucy & Co., Just Food For Dogs, Chewsy, Dog Limited and more. The event also featured balloons by Airy by Sallie and pet portraits by Nina Lutz Art, Eve Kessler, and GetCaked LA.

Thousands of attendees packed the venue to meet their favorite pet influencers, listen to panels, shop the latest pet products, and enjoy the “Instagrammable” activations, all alongside their pets.

The stars of Netflix’s “It’s Bruno,” Slick Naim and his pup Bruno, hosted a panel discussing what it’s like working with animals in film and TV.

Brands like 20th Century Fox and Bush’s Baked Beans shined at the event. 20th Century Fox brought in a Ferrari with fans and a green screen to have attendees shoot a mini video of them and their pups driving to promote their upcoming movie Art of Racing in the Rain. For Bush’s Baked Beans, PetCon served as a welcome party for their mascot, Duke the Golden Retriever, who just started his own Instagram. The Talent Welcome Reception the evening before the event was “presented by Duke Bush” and he welcomed new fans with a celebrity meet and greet.

Speaker sessions were led by the likes of the Instagram celebrity “Brother Nature” @Kelv, fitness icon and adoption advocate Michael OHearn, celebrity vet Dr. Lisa Lippman, and Zach Skow of Marley’s Mutts and the Pawsitive Change Prison Program.

@Kelv aka “Brother Nature” gave a talk on his rise to fame and creating content with animals.

The ASPCA was onsite holding dog and cat adoptions in the “Adoption Garden” and several dogs and cats went home to their furever families.

Zach Skow of Marley’s Mutts gave a talk on his Pawsitive Change prison program that he just presented at the White House alongside Kim Kardashian and others.
