Los Angeles’ cutest event of the season took place Saturday, June 22nd, 2019. The turnout was so high, the venue reached capacity twice and they had to start shutting down entry. So what’s the hubbub that drew so many people out on hot Los Angeles weekend?

PetCon LA, powered by The Dog Agency, is an action-packed event full of insightful panels, fun activations and can’t-miss meet + greets with the world’s favorite celebrity pets.

After two successful years in NYC, PetCon took its first stab at LA, and it did not disappoint. The all-day event featured notable speakers on a range of topics affecting pet parents, as well meet and greets with nearly 50 of the world’s most influential animals and canine film and TV stars.

Thousands of attendees packed the venue to meet their favorite pet influencers, listen to panels, shop the latest pet products, and enjoy the “Instagrammable” activations, all alongside their pets.

Brands like 20th Century Fox and Bush’s Baked Beans shined at the event. 20th Century Fox brought in a Ferrari with fans and a green screen to have attendees shoot a mini video of them and their pups driving to promote their upcoming movie Art of Racing in the Rain. For Bush’s Baked Beans, PetCon served as a welcome party for their mascot, Duke the Golden Retriever, who just started his own Instagram. The Talent Welcome Reception the evening before the event was “presented by Duke Bush” and he welcomed new fans with a celebrity meet and greet.

Attendees brought their pets–dogs, cats, and even an Iguana–and spent time in fun Instagrammable moments, getting portraits done of their pets, and even having pancakes made to look like their pups. Speaker sessions were led by the likes of the Instagram celebrity “Brother Nature” @Kelv, fitness icon and adoption advocate Michael OHearn, celebrity vet Dr. Lisa Lippman, and Zach Skow of Marley’s Mutts and the Pawsitive Change Prison Program.
