A vacation just isn’t the same without your furry friend. If you can’t stand to leave ’em at home, try some of these pet-friendly spots.

Los Angeles

Get the best of the beach and the city with your pet in LA. Stay at a pet-friendly hotel like the Loews or the Sofitel. Then check out awesome spots like The Grove, where you might catch a glimpse of famous pups like Harlan the corgi.

Rehoboth Beach

Head to Delaware for a great beach weekend with your pup. Hotels like the Atlantis Inn allow pets, and it’s right by the ocean. The unguarded beaches are all dog friendly, so feel free to let your pooch romp around in the sand.

Bar Harbor

For the more adventurous types, Bar Harbor is your spot. It boasts the breathtaking Acadia National Park, which has 100 miles of hiking trails for you and your active pup to explore. The campgrounds also allow dogs, so getting ready for a canine camping adventure.

Asbury Park

Another beach for bow-wows is Asbury Park at the Jersey Shore. Start your day off at Johnny Mac’s for brunch, then hit the 8th Avenue Dog Beach for some sandy fun, or the Yappy Hour at the Wonder Bar for some drinks and doggos.

Austin

If you’re headed down south, Austin is your spot. They have a ton of pet-friendly hotels, like the Hyatt House and the Omni. Definitely check out the Yard Bar for great food and a dog park for pup. For even more dog-friendly fun, head to the off-leash dog park at Red Bud Isle.
