Pawternity Leave Is Real

Bringing any new dog into your house is hard, whether it be a puppy or a rescue. There’s a reason some people refer to themselves as “pawrents.” And most employers could care less if you’re struggling to raise your brand new fur baby. But not BrewDog. This Scottish brewery started by “2 men and 1 dog” is proud to announce their newest offering: puppy parental leave.

BrewDog offers a full week off for new puppy parents. This week allows new owners to help their dog adjust to their furever home, start training, and bond with their new companion. After that week is up, no need to leave that pup at home. All the BrewDog offices are dog-friendly.

The company is based in Scotland, but they’re working on a US headquarters in Columbus, OH as we speak. According to their website, this makes them the first company in the US to offer this special puppy perk. So if you’re into beer, dogs, and Columbus, you better get your application in stat.
