Lizards and Turtles and Boas, Oh My!

Scale supporters, gather round. The Reptile Expo in White Plains, NY is set to take place in just a few weeks. On Sunday, April 23rd, reptile lovers will gather at the Northeast’s largest expo. If you’ve always thought about getting a new reptilian member of the family, this might be your chance.

The Reptile Expo brings over 100 breeders to the Westchester County Center. There will be live pets for sale, as well as all the bits and bobs you may need to take care of your cold-blooded cutie. Cages, heat lamps, and even frozen rats are up for grabs. If reptiles aren’t your thing, no worries. The show also includes plenty of amphibian and arachnid vendors, too.

At the last Reptile Expo in February, hundreds gathered even in the snowy weather to buy, sell, and discuss their favorite animals. Chameleons, frogs, geckos, and more were in attendance and ready to find their new homes. The event’s organizers even created a Snapchat filter to make sure all the reptile lovers could share their experiences with friends on social.
