Forget Coachella or Burning Man. The hottest festival this year is Woofstock, North America’s largest festival for dogs. On May 27th and 28th in Toronto, Canada, dog lovers from around the world come together to celebrate all things pup. With activities for those of all ages and species, it’s sure to be a weekend your mutt won’t want to miss.
Located at Woodbine Park, Woofstock has an impressive line-up of events. They’ve got fashion shows, talent shows, pageants, races, cooking competitions, and more. Besides the scheduled events, they also have fun activities for you and your pup to enjoy all day. There’s surfing, obstacle courses, and even an olympic sporting competition called The Woofstock Games. Everything you could think of to entertain your furry friend, they’ve got it.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, they also have special appearances from some pretty amazing celebrity pets. Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog, Tibby the Corgi, and Tuna Melts My Heart are all scheduled to make guest appearances.
If you’re still looking for plans for Memorial Day weekend, it might be worth a trip to our neighbors up north. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Can’t wait to see all the pics from this fun and furry festival.
