One of the perks of being this little piggy is I get to travel with my Human from time to time. About a year ago, I took the Human along for a little R&R in San Diego. And boy, was it a good time. We decided to stay at a great, pet-friendly hotel, Hotel Indigo. When you get to your room, they have pupcakes to eat and a cute bandana! This hotel made me feel like royalty.
On the rooftop, they had a pet-friendly bar with a patio that overlooks the beautiful skyline of San Diego and even Petco Park. It was the perfect way to socialize with other pets and humans. Hotel Indigo is right down the street from Petco Park where you can catch some games with your favorite pets.
The other great thing about San Diego is that the weather is always nice. And the beaches are full of mega babes like myself. So don’t forget to pack your swimsuit. Just down the 5 and over the bridge is The Coronado dog beach. There’s plenty of room to frolic in the sand, play a game of frisbee, take a beautiful struggle with Hunk and tan your bootie. 🙂
Now let’s talk grub.
There’s no shortage of awesome grub in San Diego, and most places are pet-friendly. The Human is a little obsessed with brunch. I don’t quite get it. The way I see it, there shouldn’t be a breakfast, lunch, or dinner time. EVERY TIME of the day should be time to eat. So I’m not necessarily saying that I’m against brunch because, let’s be honest, I love eating! I would highly recommend bringing your Human to Cafe 21. They have the prettiest patio, and they always treat me like a queen. Oh, and they have mimosa and sangria flights.
San Diego and the Hotel Indigo were wonderful to the Human and I! I can’t wait to take another visit!
