I’m sure I’ve never heard of an intern 1) tasked with petting adorable dogs all day or 2) getting paid $100 an hour. But damn, this “puptern” spot at Mutts Canine Cantina in Texas looks good.
The bar/restaurant/dog park combo has two outposts: Fort Worth and Dallas and is looking to fill the coveted intern spot at its new Fort Worth location. Guests can drop their pets at the park while they eat and drink (the puptern would play with dogs in the park) or furry friends are welcome to join their owners while they dine.

According to People.com, Kyle Noonan, co-founder of MUTTS Canine Cantina, explained, “There aren’t many opportunities out there that pay interns to strictly play with dogs all day long. Typically, there may be other responsibilities that come with the job, but not this one. I’d be lying if I said this is going to be one ‘ruff’ internship,” in a statement.
Applicants have until 11/12 to enter; so far, more than 500 people have posted their photos and videos for consideration. Get moving if you’re vying for the role!
