The gender reveal cake, which when cut open, are either blue or pink to indicate the sex of the soon-to-be-born child, is a fun moment for any parent-to-be. And if you already have a child, adding family to the cake-cutting process is even more fun. But what happens if your children are of the furry variety?
Turns out you let them have cake, too. One couple, whom were already parents to their pup Kobe, decided to let their canine kid get after the gender reveal cake, as reported by POPSUGAR. You can watch the whole thing go down in the adorable Instagram video below, in which Kobe donned both a pink and a blue bandana and chowed down after given the green light to get after the cake.
After a few bites, family and friends who were standing by erupted into cheers when they saw that the inside of the dessert was pink, indicating that the happy couple are expecting a girl. But the applause didn’t stop Kobe from continuing to enjoy the cake—and frankly, can you even blame the dog? It does look incredibly delicious.
