Amazon Delivery Driver Steals Puppy, Gets CAUGHT!

Usually, it’s a good thing when the delivery guy knocks on your door. But not in Richard Guttfield’s case. The Marsworth, England resident received packages from an Amazon delivery driver last week…and roughly around the same time, his 11-month-old miniature schnauzer, Wilma, went missing.

After a wide-ranging search, Guttfield suspected that the driver had stolen his pup, but had to go to the top dog in order to get answers. According to CNBC, Guttfield emailed Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos asking for help.

“My puppy went missing after an Amazon delivery and after an email to Jeff (Bezos)… we had someone who was amazing who tracked the driver and found our dog and brought her home,” he told CNBC.

According to Buzzfeed News, an Amazon employee saw the email and went to the driver’s home to investigate. Wilma: found!

Wilma and Guttfield have been reunited and the driver is no longer contracted out to deliver for Amazon. We love that even in this age of technology and rapid delivery, the people behind it all still have big hearts.
