A Polish Sausage Dog Parade

Dachshunds are an adorable breed loved by pretty much everyone worldwide. But there’s no place that loves these long dogs more than Poland. They recently held the 23rd annual “March of the Dachshunds” in Krakow.

Dachshunds and their owners gathered in the city’s Main Square to celebrate this very special breed. The theme of this year’s parade was “Royalty,” so many of these pups came dressed in their very finest.

These pets were all competing to be top dog. They were judged on “distinctive walk.” “elegant sit,” and “noble temperament.” In the end, 17-month-old Bobi from Krakow was crowned king.

People came from all over the world to celebrate and connect on their love of dachshunds. In a world that can sometimes seem so divided, it’s nice to see that everyone can still come together over their love of dogs.
