A Dog Friendly Movie Theater Exists in Texas

Pack your bags, we’re moving to Texas.

This new dog-friendly movie theater is exactly where we want to be this Friday night. And maybe Saturday. And maybe even Sunday through Thursday, too?

K9 Cinemas in Plano, Texas is the first of its kind. A $15 ticket to the movie theater gets you and your pup admission to one movie, unlimited soft drinks and, wait for it, unlimited wine. You read that right – this movie theater lets you bring your dog AND provides all the wine you want during your flick. Popcorn, snacks and dog treats are available at the concession. We are booking tickets right now.

The theater shows fan-favorite films, rather than new releases, and often the film selection revolves around pet-themed movies. Just follow three simple rules, clean up after your dog, bring your pet’s papers on your first visit, and stick to no more than two dogs per human at a time. Click here for showtimes.

In addition to catching a movie with your pup on the weekends, you can sign up for their coworking space from 9-5 on weekdays, opening October 1, 2019. For $99 a month, you can enjoy access to wifi, free coffee and wine. You can also rent K9 Cinemas for your next pet-friendly event. Birthday parties, corporate events, weddings even, are sure to be improved by the dog-friendly atmosphere.

Do you also think this is the best idea ever? If you’re interested in bringing a K9 Cinemas to your town, inquire here about licensing agreements and you could make that dream a reality.
